09 марта 2021 г.

Applications accepted until 31st May
From 4th to 9th July, the Sixth International Organ Assemblies (of the Summer Academy) will be held at the Cathedral on Kant Island. The programme will include master classes and concerts by the renowned European organists and Organ Assemblies professors Johann Vexo (France) and Stephan Leuthold (Germany), as well as concerts by participants and guided tours to Kaliningrad Oblast landmarks.

There are two options to attend, as a Participant or as a Listener. The Participant format provides an opportunity to study with eminent performing organists and to take part in the closing concert.

Interpretation of french organ baroque and 19th-20th century music will be the topic of Prof. Johann Vexo’s master class, while Prof. Stephan Leuthold’s will be on J. S. Bach and the major organ works by Liszt and Reubke. Every Participant must submit one piece of music for each section of the program (french baroque music, french romantic music, Bach, Liszt).

The Listener format is for attending master classes, concerts, and guided tours as an audience member.

The fee for participating in the Assemblies is:

€90 — for Participants;

€45 — for Listeners.

The fee for international attendees is payable upon arrival, in roubles at the official exchange rate for the first day of the Assemblies. Attendees cover their own expenses related to travelling to and from Kaliningrad, transfer services, accommodation, meals, and tours. We accept applications until May 31, 2021.
